A Little Bit Better...

After a virtually sleepless night and feeling like a slug upon awakening, it did get better.

I did my first day of starting over the C25K, no problems. I had told my family I would make breakfast this morning. I had to beat my hubby to it because he will not work with me, lol.

We had our usual Saturday morning breakfast of bacon and eggs but with some healthier tweaks. Instead of butter, I used a bit of olive oil. Instead of regular cheese, I used some Laughing Cow. I added a couple handfuls of spinach to my son's dismay. Instead of butter on the toast, I added only strawberry preserves. And I tried the oven method for the bacon and it worked great. Changes next time will be half egg whites instead of all whole eggs, more cheese, and turkey bacon (hubby made it to the store before me!).

I did much better at sticking to my food plan today, even with some little treats. I still am low on the protein side. i think I will grab some Greek yogurt while I am out tomorrow to see if that helps. I was just so excited not to go over my fats today!
