Hope Serves...

Saturday, January 19, 2013

Is it not hope that serves as one of our guides as we navigate our world of aspirations and accomplishment? Since we have recently adopted an optimistic stance where our prospects are concerned, I've no doubt we've found it easier to maintain a much more positive outlook and have more faith than usual in yourself and in our ability to meet our personal and professional goals. And should circumstances force us to face great challenges on any given day, our positive mood will help us see these adverse events as just another part of the goal-realization process. Thus, we will likely feel that we are making progress, even when our forward momentum is slowed by adversity.

Hope has always given us something sturdy to cling to when we are unsure if our efforts will be met with success, ensuring that we can continue forward through both good times and bad. Though we may have little else going for us outside of our optimism regarding our prospects, our expectations can prove to be potent motivational tools. What exists in the present becomes less important than the results we can achieve in the days and years to come because we understand that our goals demand not only our devotion but also our time. This comprehension allows us to overlook the distractions and delays that plague us in the present in order to reach for the success on the distant horizon. The hope you feel today will help you keep your focus fixed on all you hope to achieve, no matter the nature of the circumstances currently unfolding around you.
