I just spent 7.5 hours getting my hair done. Let's just say I had plenty of time for reflection. I went to 2 water classes this morning and my team mates missed me. Of course they gave me a hard time about my hiatus but all in good fun. We worked so hard but laughed the entire way. I even rewarded myself with a hottub break. Then I parked my very weary hind parts in a salon chair. Many hours later, I'm more sore than when I started but, I did pretty good today. Here are my revelations- nothing you don't know but more of a personal reminder:
1. Back to the basics. This is going to be one choice at a time.
2. You can eat pretty good at7-11 if you are on the run. Skip the nachos and donuts. Banana, water, nuts and Greek yogurt are cool options.u
3. Drink your water. I didn't realize I have been failing at getting my 8 cups in regularly!
4. Last but not least, keep trying! I don't know when the switch flipped and suddenly I'm sad not making progress. I really feel better and I have my team to thank- and the tight purple leopard print pajama bottoms for sending gentle reminders! Oh I almost forgot- here's a pic of 7.5 hour hair!!!!
