Week 5 - Half Marathon Training

This was a hard week! I had a lot of extra craziness and emotional stresses that caused me to be in a funk. My eating wasn't 100% and I really didn't want to work out. Actually didn't EXCEPT for my assigned half training.
Today was 6miles. Knew I'd be on the treadmill forever! Didn't do it outside because it's been 29 degrees, foggy, miserable. The goal I set for it last week was 1:56:34. I was able to do it in 1:52:30. WooHoo! Still have 16 weeks to get my time down, way down!
Next weeks assignment is 4 miles brisk. I'm setting the goal for 1:10:00
A side note...I got a FITBIT!!! It came yesterday after a VERY long wait!! I love it! So great to see all it tracks and extremely interesting to see my sleep. I hope this helps me move in the right direction. Moving more, getting a good burn to lose some lbs!
