    OOOOO!!Yummy,, that pudding sounds great!!

Yesterday my friend brought me a homemade angel food cake and a bowl of squished strawberries out of her garden, for my birthday today. She knows I never get a cake for anything, so she made that for me.. the cake is a VERY good snack,, just egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar!!

That apple crisp trick is a good one, I do that too, minus the margarine,,
Jason, you two will find little tricks to honestly get your nutritional needs met without cheating your body.

Anything chocolate with strawberries sounds good to me. Finding substitutions for old favorites will keep you from straying and help you stay on track. As you start to eat healthier foods (ie: more veggies and lean protein) you may find that you won't be as hungry. Keep watching you calories and adjust accordingly. You're doing great, Jason...keep Sparking! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Oh Yeah! Strawberries and Chocolate pudding. Never thought of that either, but I might try it. Thanks for the video posts. You are going to get your nutrition under control. Focus on the positive feelings, like more energy. It sounds like you have someone who is supporting your efforts. That increases your odds of success. Keep up the blogging, emoticon

Good job Jason. Keep up the good work. I am a firm believer in letting the body be your guide. So many times we eat when we aren't hungry and that really gets us into trouble. If you see you are under your calories and you aren't losing, you can add a few extra calories by drinking 2% milk instead of skimmed, a pat of butter instead of spray butter, etc. There are ways of adding a few calories without really eating more food.

As you go along you will learn new ways of getting your snacks like with the pudding and strawberries. My new favorite this past week has been, chop up an apple and put into a bowl. Spray with some spray butter, sprinkle some cinnamon, Equal, and a little bit of instant cinnamon oatmeal on top and put in the microwave for about 2 1/2 minutes. It makes me feel like I am eating apple crisp.

Keep up the good work, you are doing awesome!!! emoticon
