Closure on my Public Accountability Experiment

Saturday, January 19, 2013

Hello Friends,

It has been useful to make a commitment to make public posts about specific goals. Here are some things accomplished and learned:

1) Weight-wise it was a success. I kept a stable weight between Christmas and New Years. Plus, I took off a couple of pounds that I had put on between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

2) Making a public statement about a very specific goal helped me stay focused. The support and comments from the community are also very important.

3) I feel more energized and confident about my ability to set realistic goals and meet them (through a combination of discipline, self-care, forgiveness, and reflection).

Ciao for now!!

But the word "closure" sounds so final!

Can't wait to see what you have to say next....
