Our body is a vessel here on earth.

Saturday, January 19, 2013

My husband and I are in two traumatic loss groups since the loss of our son in June of 2010. It was after my loss that I gained so much weight. At our December gathering, the facilitator spoke about how our body is merely a vessel while we are on the plain of earth. It helped me focus on what matters and that is the spirit and soul of a person. I am shifting my thinking to focusing more on being in each moment and taking care of my vessel on earth as it will allow me to be in balance with my inner being. The more I exercise and make good food choices, the better I am feeling and in turn able to be open to healing energy. I am living with intention and that includes my health journey!

It is hard when you lose a child and just remember that he will always be in your heart.

Good for you! You deserve to take care of yourself. So sorry for the loss of your son. Take care of yourself. I think the facilitator of that meeting sounds very wise. Keep pushing!
