Letter to my Future Self
Dear Future Self this is a letter to remind you of how far you have come. You started this journey July 23, 2009 with Spark People and you were able to lose 68.8 pounds so far. I want to encourage you to continue doing what youíre doing because you have learned so much.
You started out exercising 15 minutes a day and wasnít able to breathe well but now you can do two Zumba Classes a day and donít have to worry about using the Asthma inhalers.
You have also learned to eat healthier by using the food tracker to keep track of the calories you allow your body to eat. You know what are the trigger foods, chocolate, chips and fried foods and breads. We learned to limit those things in moderation and not deprive yourself of these things or you may go overboard.
You have also learned that drinking 8-10 8oz bottles of water per day will keep you hydrated and of course you may drink a lot more if you workout more.
I know you were at a plateau a few times and you had to change your workout and eating habits quite a few times to get passed it but it worked out well.
You have encouraged others as well as yourself and should be proud of what you accomplished.
