How I handled Longhorns last night

Saturday, January 19, 2013

My son was accepted into Advanced Academy (an early entrance to college) yesterday so we went to Longhorns to celebrate. Initially my thought was yikes there's usually a lot of calories involved in going out to eat. So I went straight to the Tracker and put in a 7 ounce salmon, a plain baked potato, and as a treat a 20 ounce Sam Adams.

I did not have bread, I asked for broccoli with no butter for my side. I had a garden salad with vinaigrette instead of cesear salad. So I was pleasantly full but not stuffed and did not go over my calorie limits. Woohoo!

Wahooo! That's awesome! I love salmon and it's my go to entree when eating out.

That bread, tho, is sinful!

Congratulations to your son! You must be very proud!
