I went to the doctor today to get results of my
bloodtests. The main one I was worried about
was the best. My cholesterol was down to 5 from 6.7
My LDL/HDL ratio is 1.7 down from 2.3
My Chol/HDL ratio is 2.9 down from 3.5
I had been pretty slack at taking my meds(Crestor) and
instead I was eating more fresh vegetables and fruit,
using cinnamon on just about everything and drinking a
glass of warm water with a teaspoon of turmeric every
morning before anything else. I also use turmeric in a lot
of my cooking - from scrambled eggs to stews.
I will now continue to eat and cook this way as well as
upping my exercise. My blood sugar has gone down to 5.2,
so I am doubly happy. Now if only the thyroid was that
simple, but that is the next thing to work at.
