A month or so ago, I started this program. I actually only did it one night. My son wanted to go for a walk and we decided to try this instead. I made it, but barely. When day 2 of the program rolled around, I knew I wasn't QUITE ready for it. Fast forward a month and I'm tackling it once again.
Granted, I'm only on day 2 but I'm actually spending time running! That was one of my goals when I first joined the gym - to be able to run. I'm walking (briskly) for 90 seconds, then running for 60. Repeat this 8 times and that's it. Granted, 8 minutes doesn't seem like that much but 8 minutes of running to me is AMAZING! I never in a million years thought I would be running.
(And here's a little secret - I actually kind of like it. Here's another secret...I've dropped 2 pounds in 3 days. I think this was the boost my system needed!)
