A Week Goes By Fast

I can't believe it has been a week already since I posted a blog. I really thought it had only been a couple of days.

This week has been a rocky one. I have had a few days of going over calories a bit and I have been feeling secretly guilty about it and trying to ignore myself. I got sick mid-week and haven't been able to exercise which is really making me feel like a slug. And on top of everything else, I am overdue for my lady's time and I'm holding about 3 pounds of water.

I am really whining tonight, huh? emoticon

All in all, it has not really been a bad week, I just feel like wallowing tonight. I had to go out to dinner with my Mom tonight for her birthday and did not make bad choices or overeat. I should see this as a non-scale victory but all I feel is all the sodium coursing through my body making me hold more water. YUCK!

Mom really enjoyed her birthday dinner, though and her time with me so that is a good thing. Another good thing is my hubby has tomorrow off so I will get to enjoy spending the day with him.

I am determined not to let three days without exercise become four. Perhaps I can convince my hubby to join me in some yoga tomorrow. I am soooooo ready to wipe this week off the books and get back to life. No more sick, for me, please. Thanks! LOL

    Well It's 5 Days Since You Wrote This Blog And I'm Sure You're Going Strong! That Salt Weight Gain Has Been Sneaking Up On Me And I Really Watch The Sodium. I Go From One Weight To The Other And I Can Tell When It's Salt. Glad You Enjoyed Your Time With Your Mother. emoticon

You Said You Posted Your Calories Where Your Minutes Should Go And Can't Delete It. If You Are Using The Spark Fitness Tracker You Should Be Able To Remove It From The Tracker. If Not You Should Contact HELP.

    I'll listen anytime. Sorry about the 4 day delay. (trying to catch up again) There is a different way to look at things.
1. You made great food decisions out with mom.
2. You're are sick now. You can only start feeling better.
3. Within a few days, something that has happened 100's of times before is going to take off 3 pounds as it runs it course.
4. WooHoo! Hubby might rub my feet tomorrow.
5. You have many friends who have been there, dealt with that, and they all sympathise with you.

I feel for you, and hope you don't mind my opposite approach.

    I'm glad you had a nice time with your mom:) I live far way from my parents right now. I miss going out to eat with them or eat at there house.

I do know what you mean about eating out though, after you have been eating so healthy, you don't feel so good. I've been there before. It will be okay, though and you will get it out of your system. Tomorrow is another day to start again!
