By this time Sunday evening I will have participated in my first full Marathon. I will be running/speedwalking it with my knee at 90%. It's been a long several month of rehabbing while training. But I'm as ready as I can be.

Today was the day to pick up my bib, swag bag and shirt. Tomorrow my daughter picks up her stuff for the 1/2 Marathon. WooHoo

My College Roommate who came in from Ohio to run it with me.

I'll update you after the Marathon is over later on Sunday or Monday morning.

So waiting to read your post-race blog! Becky and I were sending positive thoughts your way today, as we met up for a yoga-hike.

Steve, I will keep you, your friend, your daughter and the other runners in my prayers during this marathon. May God provide strength and safety as you run.

RnR AZ? I ran the Half through Tempe and Scottsdale. I don't know how the spectators were on the Full course, but on the Half course they were ... underwhelming. I was told by a full runner that they were much better there.

But who cares about the spectators. This is about you and the asphalt.

Have fun!
