Day 390 ~ M

Friday, January 18, 2013

It was one of those barn burner busy days! The grand kids were supposed to stay with us from tomorrow morning thru Sunday. OK - this means MAJOR house cleaning. Got it all done, then this evening DS called to say the little guy was burning up with fever and was real sick. Hope it's not the flu! So we told him we'd just shoot for next weekend with the boys and would hope both of them are fine & healthy by then.

Even with all of the house cleaning Jetta & I got a lot of cardio hiking done by days' end. We did 8.80 miles. It was another good, sunny day - great for hiking. Did a ST session tonight - core; lower body.

Also had my yearly perm tonight. That was a 3 hour marathon at the beauty shop! Long hair takes forever to roll when getting a perm. That's why I only do this once a year. Glad it's done!!

DH made a wonderful dinner - boneless pork loin chops, broccoli & baked sweet potatoes. It tasted really good and was so appreciated after the long sit at the beauty shop.

A big thanks to you for stopping by today if you had time. Hope your Friday was fabulous and you were able to get active and enjoy your day!! emoticon

Getting "dolled" up once a year makes you feel good all year long. Have a great weekend and hope the little guy gets better soon.
