Well we are planning our next two. weeks of groceries while I am .working. We are planning so. fix tings that he can have ready when I get home and he can still get his rest for his work hours. We are planning a stew. chilli and a skillet lasana thru Wed and then I am off Thursday and get the cooking done while Hubby is working. think we purchased enough protein that we will not have to go back to the store for about three weeks. We will just have to go to the farmer's market for fresh product, etc. We will need to get more milk and bread. We are trying to live within a grocery budget We spent a third of our budget today. I feel good that the protein (meat) is only that much giving us more for fresh fruits and veggies. We are coming around to a better eating habit....

Of course Miss Coco wants to join us for all the goodies and she is really limited on her people food. Since Hubby dropped a littlepiee of meatloaf the other night she is pulling out everything in the kitchen looking for more, I got up this morning and she had the kitchen floor covered with the things she could get to and move....She knew she was in trouble when I shouted her name. She stood back peeking around the corner while I putt everything back. I can not believe what a little 10 pound fluff can move

Planning ahead with your groceries is such a good idea. I am always amazed at how much food can cost. I am lucky at least that here in Mexico I can go to market and get wonderful fresh veggies and fruits for little money. Anything though that is imported from the states is outrageously expensive though and you can't get what you want half the time. But one learns to live with these challenges and I have found favorite things here in Mexico that I would so miss if I ever moved back to the states.
    Have a terrific day.
