Cleanse Day 2:
Feeling heavy & full in the abdomen.
Lots of bowel elimination, pretty loose.
A slight increase in energy from Day 1.
Noticing a cleanse of emotions as well in the form of crying.
Revelation: when I'm going through something hard, I don't want any other "interruptions or added stressors." Example:Whilst ingesting the "vomit drink" I don't want kids near me, asking me questions, yelling at each other in sibling arguments, or stressful tone of voice from hubby toward them.
It's like, "SILENCE!!!" in the big Wizard of Oz voice.
Oatmeal with walnuts, flaxseed, raisins, almond meal and maple syrup. Green tea with honey. Veggies. Salmon. More veggies. Ate some homemade sweet dessert treat. Small portion of free range, organic, grass-fed beef. Chamomile tea with honey.
Stressful day today. Just one of the stressors included taking my toddler daughter (along with my infant son) to the hospital for some testing. As a reward for her producing the proper specimen for the Doctor, she got a treat from the grocery store! I also indulged....it was chocolate covered ice cream bars.
Here's the realization: dairy gives me a rash. Something I've been in denial about because I love cheese & ice cream as well as kefir and yogurt. This may be something I really need to cinch in. Already been drinking almond milk for like 7 years, but been eating dairy in it's other forms. This cleanse made the rash almost instant. Very cool, very eye-opening.
