Ok this one intimidates me,
I don't know why but, I cannot make it!
I have only tried 1 time too.
SO.....it's hubs favorite (maybe that's why)
and I am trying it in the crock pot so he can take it
to work. All that CHEESE....oh my.... good thing he's taking it to work.
I saved some tomatoes and sauce for myself and I'm going to have
whole wheat pasta and broccoli instead emoticon

If he likes it, I think I can do something lower in fat next time and
enjoy it with him emoticon

Great choices and I love how you dovetailed one relatively high-fat recipe into a healthier alternative for yourself. Seems to me I've seen Chef Meg do something in this area that may please both of you. Fortunately, mozzarella cheese is a better option than the higher calorie cheddars and such. Keep up the good work in wanting to try new things! Hug, hug -- Evelyn

Here's one link that I found on an initial search. Not sure if we have access direct here on SP:

I hate making lasagne because I want the FULL FAT kind and not the veggie one, or the light on the cheese one. I don't know how you stayed out of it, but I wouldl give up all my apples in one day for order to eat home made lasagne!

Congratulations on your self control. I evidently have NONE! LOL

good for you. The secret to lasagne is this, One, layer your noodles opposite, in other words, layer lengthwise, then the next layer across. Make sure you r filling isn't too wet, Oh, I use raw noodles, I don't precook them. The sauce and filling will cook them. and the final trick, is when it is done, let it sit out for at least a half an hour before cutting it. It needs to rest. I hope this helpful
    lots of hugs
