No kidding, I have had one thing after another since November. UTIs, yes more than ONE, pinched nerve, colds, stomach bugs, viruses...name something yucky and I had it.
I'm wiped!! Unfortunately the exercise and the healthy eating were sacrificed and there have been some pounds added back on. Of course.
Sooooo here I am, back again, and needing to get back to at least healthy eating again. My blood sugar skyrocketed and as of yesterday I was getting readings in the 300s (in the 200s today) and it's scary. I am a type 2 and am on meds, but I know I've been screwing around with my food choices and eating way too many refined carbs. It seems that all of the "easy" food is pretty much poison.
Speaking of poison in food, I want to share a great movie that's on Netflix right now called "Hungry for Change" which is really informative about nutrition and how bad some processed foods are for us. I thought it went quickly and it wasn't boring. It all makes so much sense and now I just have TO DO IT.
I want to say thank you to the wonderful people on here who care so much to keep in touch during my absences. You are each a blessing and please know that you are appreciated.
