I've had a bit of a tough week. I don't know why but I had a hard time sticking to my meal plan and finding the energy to work out - but I did (well, except for a couple of small slip-ups, but looking at the big picture I think I did really well). I have been staying consistent with my exercise routine and I'm especially happy with sticking to my yoga workouts because they make me feel so good afterwards.
This week's mantra has pretty much been: "Oh so you don't feel like it? Well, do it anyway. You'll thank yourself later."
At times I felt like I was just going through the motions but I'm glad I did because I feel really happy about it now. Even though this week wasn't perfect, I made a lot of healthy choices, took care of myself physically and mentally (I started meditating again as a way of dealing with stress and I LOVE IT), and kept my eyes on the prize.
Sometimes there just are weeks like this one. They come and go. The important thing is to keep on pushing forward despite everything - you'll be glad you did so later on!
