Almost time for the "dreaded" weekend...

Let me clarify a little. I am not "dreading" the weekend, I am actually looking forward to seeing my family and going to a concert, but I am nervous about being away from my structured environment. I'll be somewhere with different foods available, no gym and doing completely new activities for me, activities I haven't done since starting my healthy life-style change. So what am doing to prepare?
First, I am taking foods with me. I have packed fruit and soup and other things that have helped me to stay on track so far. I have also prepared my family for this visit so they know that I don't even want to have the option to go to my favorite restaurant or anything, because I cannot say no at this point, so I have to make smarter choices right away.
Second, I am still packing exercise clothes so I can use the treadmill at the house I'm staying or I can walk outside, although it is going to be wicked cold this weekend, so maybe I will stick with the treadmill.
Third, when we do things like the concert or shopping (I need new running shoes and shoes for work) I will pack an apple or peanuts or something, and always take water with me.
Finally, I will be taking a water bottle with me so I have water on the trip and do not feel as tempted to stop for fast food or something to drink. And then I will have a water bottle to keep with me throughout the weekend.
So, that's my plan. How does it sound? I will be sure to give honest updates as the weekend goes along, or on Monday. I am not as nervous about this weekend as I was last week, mostly because I haven't "cheated" at all this week. This means I can hopefully enjoy my three day weekend, get a little homework done and still have tons of fun with the family. Now that I have started breaking my own bad habits, I have to work with my family to break OUR bad habits, like choosing better restaurants, or not eating out for every meal. I hope they are ready!
