Looking ahead at 2013

Things already on the board to look forward to in 2013:
-learning how to SCUBA dive, getting dive certified
-going to Maui
-MS 150/camp out in Oregon
-some cool bike rides, TBD, MS 150 in Arizona?

Achievement Goals for 2013:
-taking at least one web design class
-taking online classes via Coursera
-taking at least one artistic type class, creating some art
-learn how to skate ski (could be 2014)
-XC ski at least 4 times in WA
-re-establish meditation practice (10 minutes a day)
-tighten and tone muscles, maintain healthy weight
-enjoy some Seattle Culture; see at least 1 more play, go to at least 1 local music show
-redo website!
-maintain blog, write more
-read more

Growth Goals for 2013:
-practice listening to that little voice of "you should do this thing right now, this is the right thing to do" instead of ignoring it because it's hard/scary/unsure and regretting it later when something goes wrong because I didn't act
-practice fighting for what I want in the world, even the little stuff, even if it's hard/scary or it might mean people won't like me
-establish how to maintain budget when sharing finances with a partner who highly values spending money and doesn't budget at all
-practice enjoying the moment
-practice detachment from outcomes/letting go/if something goes bad, it's ok/be an example of resilience/deal with it NOW, RIGHT NOW
-continue thankfulness, continue to work on generosity
-be true to myself/re-establish "who I am" /let go of feeling like I've gone down such an unlikely path/square peg in round hole- I can be different than who I was/who I am now is OK
-make some new friends, open up
-practice decision-making: what do I want/does it FEEL right?
-stay on track, and commend myself, for having job/partner/healthy activity/healthy eating all at the same time!

Uncommitted Goal for 2013 (want to do them, but not committed to them happening right this year):
-get a new car
-bring music back into my life, i.e. play an instrument
-get new skis
-take couples dance lessons

-week long bike trek with Heather
