Day 12 and bye bye to one more kilo

Friday, January 18, 2013

That is 7.3kg released in 12 days emoticon , more than 1 stone! Yippee!

Like you I am interested to see whether this weight stays off and I promise I will put it out on a blog for us all to consider, whether it does or whether I gain more fat to replace this. My hope is that is released for good and has trekked off to find someone who could stand to put on a kilo or two.
Feel strong and cheery, something seems to be going on in my body that my bod likes a lot. Obviously any Sparker with weight to lose who lost 1 stone in 12 days would be a bit happy, but not just the weight loss but my bod does seem pleased with me. Can't explain more than that.
Anyway, Fifi is a fat little chick and there is plenty more to go, so I have no plans at the moment to ditch the Cura before it is done.

A word of thanks to my SParkbuddies who are supporting me: I really appreciate your support and comments. I'm doing fine at the moment, but your words mean a lot to me. If I was watching a Sparkbuddy do this, I might fear this was too good to be true and reserve my judgement. But it is great to feel supported in my efforts, so to those of you who are able to offer it, a big

I wait, curious at your success and wondering "what's the catch?"
Years ago (lifetime) I lost 50 pounds in about 6 months I kept it off for about three years. Then 5 pounds a year crept back. Every year I said its only 5 pounds! 75 pounds later............

Keep us informed. emoticon

Woo Hoo are you kidding there have times when I was jumping for joy at one pound - good for you . Its not easy by all means , whew ! Its taken me over a year to drop 90 pounds, sometimes we fluctuate. Whatever you are doing is working !! Keep up the good work and yes , I am doing a ton of exercise , after being down for two years with broken legs I feel like I have been released from prison . I cannot sit still - Congrats on your new and continued success - You Rock !!! Hugs Karen - Will be swimming over seas to visit you !! :) emoticon emoticon

I like the term "released" instead of "lost" weight. Makes it sound like a more active process. "I let a kilo of weight leave my body" rather than "Gosh, it was here just a day ago; don't know where it's hiding, but I sure hope it doesn't find me again!"

Keep it up Fifi. If nothing else, this is giving you confidence that you can lose weight. And even if you gain some of it back, you won't gain all of it.
