Yaaaay! I reached my goal of two pounds lost this week. That is the number I am shooting for each week. 2 pounds a week for a whole year in 104 pounds! Doesn't seem like such a small bit of weight after realizing that. =) So far I've lost 5 this month. I have 9 more pounds to go until I am back at my lowest weight. I've been feeling a little impatient to get back there but I know I'll see that number again soon.
Hmm, what else..
Oh! I love eggs and lately have been on an omelete kick. I use one full egg and then two egg whites. I love cheese though so I end up putting a slice of Velveeta (40 cals) and/or a thin slice of cream cheese on it. My omelette is between 230-250 calories depending and it is sooo yummy. And I don't feel guilty about the cheese either. It's extra yummy when I have mushrooms to add =)
I also love greek yogurt with frozen berries and honey. OHHHH how I love it. I swear it is my favorite treat. It keeps me sane when I want something sweet. I love the fage 2% greek yogurt but the 0% is alright. I don't shun a bit of fat in my food because I notice it keeps me fuller longer and I don't eat as much. Everything in moderation.
I downloaded the c25k app and have been using it for both my treadmill time and my exericise bike time. When it says "run!" I pedal super fast. Oh my goodness, it works me out. lol. I started up with my strength training too and I know it is going to help me see better results. =)
