And it's not just Friday... It's the Friday before a long weekend!
This is amazing and absolutely what I needed now. Unfortunately most of the weekend will be full of errands and apartment hunting. These are the things that need to get done but I don't have time to do during the week.
Here is a quick rundown of my weekend plans and what I anticipate my challenges will be:
Tonight: apartment searching right after work, then going to my parents to have dinner with my sister since it's her last night here before she goes back to college. That means an hour drive (if traffic cooperates), and a menu I probably won't have control over, but I will have internet at their place so I can go back and track tonight after I eat.
Saturday: I need to go to the bank down by my parents' house and I'll probably squeeze in breakfast with my sister. I have to be back up here by noon to look at another apartment. (Hopefully one of these apartments will be perfect for me because I want to be able to move right away.) I should have a little time to relax in the afternoon (maybe I could even squeeze in a little workout) Then I am going to a little party with my reenacting regiment. I'll be getting all dressed up in my best 18th century clothes and I think it'll be a lot of fun. However I have no way to plan for food. It's "bring your own alcohol", so I'll just skip bringing alcohol and drink water to minimize the damage.
Sunday: I actually have no plans. It's kind of glorious because that does not happen in my life anymore. I probably will go to church and then park my butt at Panera or Barnes and Noble to do some serious apartment searching. Unless I love one of the places I saw on Friday or Saturday. In that case, I might be packing..
Monday: I do have plans for a workout with my friend and I had another appointment to look at an apartment, but I don't think that one will work for me. In talking to one of my friends, who is from this area, I found out that it's in a place I really don't want to live, so that means I probably don't want it anyway. Hopefully I can find some more places to look at and also take advantage of the time to relax a bit.
It should be a good weekend. At least I hope so. However all this having no plans means no knowing what I'll end up eating. That's a little scary, but I've decided not to stress so much about that.
