3 weeks from today, SEPTEMBERSPIRIT and I will be on our way to Barbados. OMG! So excited!
So, here's my plan for the next 3 weeks. And yes, I am pet sitting for 2 out of the 3 weeks. Except the place I'm staying at this time has a treadmill and some weights. So, I will be exercising. Anyway, here's my plan.
1. 8 glasses of water every day
2. ST on this schedule: upper body, lower body, core, day off - REPEAT for the 3 weeks
3. 45-60 minutes of formal cardio 5 days/week - so for the 2 weeks I'm pet sitting, that will be using the treadmill. They also have a Wii so I'm taking my Gold's Gym game with me. And maybe my DDR. If I have room to pack the dance pad.
4. Breakfast every day
5. Salad with protein for lunch, and at least 2 types of veg with dinner every day.
I'm not really worried about losing weight before my trip....I'm not going to lose much in 3 weeks anyway. I just want to feel like I tried to be healthier. And I know if I try, I'll feel good about myself when I get off that plane.
In other news, still seeing the guy, except he's also seeing other people (yeah...I know..he said...whatever *lol*). So I am too. I have a date tentatively lined up for this weekend. Plans should be confirmed today.
In more exciting news: I've been offered a job. The couple that I'm pet sitting for have offered me a job as their live-in Private Chef. And I'm seriously considering it. While I would have to give up my apartment, I'd still be living in Ottawa, so I wouldn't be losing contact with my friends and family. And that is really important to me. So I'm going to think about it while they are away, and while I'm away and when I get back, I'm going to do a trial run before giving notice on my apartment. But it seems like a really good offer for me. They would pay me a monthly salary and I would live there rent free. They'd also cover my food, cable and internet. So I'd have no expenses except for cell phone and credit card bills. It's really, really tempting.
