Enjoying exercise?

Went to the gym this morning to avoid my niece and nephew. They're two years and four months. My brother keeps dropping them off at my house for free babysitting. So I'm going to correct his behavior by no longer being at home. It's good. I wouldn't have gone to the gym without that extra motivation and I had a good workout.

It's just so very boring. Are people serious when they say they like exercise. I've tried a variety of workouts. The best I can say is that I don't HATE swimming and zumba. But enjoy it like it's fun...Not really. Oh, I do like hiking. But I live in nyc so that's not realistic. And I like dancing around my apt but I tend to pretend I'm on so you think you can dance and fake my way through contemporary routines to the soothing sounds of evanescence...so might not be burning a lot of calories.

Well, even though I don't love it exercise yet, I have been regular about doing it so maybe that's as good as it gets. Off to put on some Evanescence and pretend I'm a ballerina...

    I think it's an acquired "taste". I don't love the exercises themselves sometimes, but I love how I feel when I do them and the results! I look forward to that good feeling more than anything else!

    I love certain forms of exercise, like ST, but others like planks?? ugh!!! lol.... But I know it does wonders for my goals.....Good for you getting your WO in though emoticon
