you never realize how much you use a muscle until it hurts

I just realized this morning that I had forgotten to do my mid-week "how things are going" blog. One of my New Years resolutions was to blog more, so I really am trying to keep to it.

I have a pretty good week. My eating has been good except for last night. DD#2 and I went to a chinese buffet. I ate with wild abandon. emoticon I am heartened by the fact that my weight was not up this morning like it usually is after I eat at a restaurant. All of that sodium blows me up like a balloon!

I am going to zumba again tonight. After Wednesday I wasn't sure I would be able to make it tonight. I did a aqua fit class and then a zumba class. At the end of the class, the instructor challenged us to go 85 squats. I don't think I did quite that many, but I did a lot! And then Thursday's January Jumpstart video was a lower body workout too. Every time I sit down today I am reminded how much I worked those muscles!! I'm going to push through the aches and do my best at zumba tonight, but man am I sore!

Still working on eating the fruits and veggies. I am getting SOME every day, so I consider that a success. Same with the water; as long as I am getting some I feel pretty good about it.

Time for some lunch. Having a Lean Cuisine chicken parmesan and a tangerine. Hoping the smell of that citrus will revive me because right now I'm dragging!

    I literly FEEL your pain. I did squats & lundges on monday and could walk or even go to the bathroom without being in super pain! (TMI? haha)

    Sounds like you are keeping it real and doing very well. Adding the fruit and veg can be difficult but little by little hopefully you will find ways of adding them in.

    As long as you are dragging in the right direction huh? :) And it sure looks like you are. I am dragging this morning. And my right bicep is a little naggy but I am happy to have pushed my bowling to 2 and 1/3 games yesterday. 2 more practices to get to 3 games and the SENIOR league starts. Enjoy your day and enjoy being able to do so much. You are going to make it!
