A few years back I bought the Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred DVD. I never did it for 30 straight days but I liked it OK, as it's a pretty tough 20-25 minute workout. I put it away for about a year and started using it again recently.
The thing that bothers me the most about the DVD is the fact that Jillian attempts to motivate by talking about how good you’ll look in jeans, the fact that you could have rock hard abs, etc. I am not interested in having rock hard abs, and in all honesty – I already look damn good in jeans.
So her attempts at motivation make me roll my eyes. I repeat to myself my own motivator: to be healthy, lifelong.
