In no particular order ...

My friend Annie who has lost over 100 pounds by eating right and exercising.
The way I look in the mirror.
Good health
Good skin and hair
I'm never going to be able to afford to retire so I'd better stay in good shape. :)
My daughter - I need to be around for her and her future children
My parents - I need to be healthy to take care of them

To be continued ....

So far ... so good. I went out to dinner last night with a friend and I ordered clean and healthy. I stayed on the low side of my nutrition goals and I left there feeling satisfied. The chicken wings and french fries my friend ordered looked and smelled good but oddly I wasn't tempted in the least. I just ate a banana. I hate bananas. I have to find another way to get my potassium because I'm practically gagging these things down. I know I can put them into a smoothie but I don't really leave enough time in the morning to throw together a smoothie so that's not an option for me right now.

    PJBONARRIGO I was surprised also. Do you know the daily recommended is 4700 mg?!?! Geez!

I'm going to incorporate more sweet potatoes into my diet starting tomorrow. At least until I can stomach bananas again, they really are very convenient.

    Great idea to make an inspiration list! I'm stealing that one :-)
It was a huge surprise to me to find how short we are on getting enough potassium every day. Bananas are a good source, but a baked potato with its skin is even better. A sweet potato with skin is a good source too. Are you as surprised as me? emoticon
