Happy Friday - Week One of ST Recap

This week has been awesome, and much needed. I've been successfully in my ranges and getting LOTS and LOTS of protein. My nutrition is right back on track, and I have been successfully in the middle of the road every day. I don't forsee any problems coming up this weekend, either.

I did not get in my core workout yesterday because my back was ungodly sore from Zumba. I am a chesty broad, and there were many jumps. Next week I'll wear more support. All that means, though, is that I'll do my core exercises when I get home from work today before I jump on my bike. I'm NOT going to skip out on it!

We may go to C's mom's house to stay this weekend. If that's the case, I might have to reschedule or retune my planned work outs. The plan is Pilates and 30 minutes on the bike every Saturday morning. Instead, I might just do a short ST session (C and I at least get our own room when we stay there) with dumbells and then a few Pilates poses. For cardio, I can ALWAYS go for a walk! They have a treadmill as well, though, so I may do a bit of jogging. But again, NO WAY will I skip working out. Change in plans, totally fine. Skipping, totally NOT fine.

I didn't lose any weight this week, but I think that's rather expected because of all the muscle destruction/rebuilding leading to water retention and then just general body composition changes. I'd like to say it doesn't bother me, buuuuut I was hoping for a loss this week anyway. Ah well, like I've been saying - this new program and attitude is all about what I can DO, not what I weigh!

    Awesomesauce - you are going to rock it! Your body is just having a "WTF you doing to me, woman!?" moment, once it gets used to it, the scale will move!

    Great job increasing your protein while increasing your ST - very important. As you build muscle, you need to feed it!
