SO I finally feel like I'm getting back on track. I'm so jazzed after my workout and I have been cleaning a good bit of the day. Not the putting away clutter from the kitchen counter type cleaning but the deep cleaning. I found a bag we stuck in the hall closet when we moved in that had 3 things in it. That type of deep cleaning. Also working on the bathroom right now and going through all my old stuff. I have a completely full garbage bag of old stuff that I always felt like I had to hang onto. I had a basket that I haven't touched since we moved in back in 2009. I'm pretty sure that is makeup that I shouldn't even be using anymore! Now I am going to wash out the drawers - mineral makeup gets all over everything.
Anyway, onto the workout. I've restarted stage 1 of NROLFW again because I really enjoyed it and thought that might help me get back on track. My squats and deadlifts are over 100 lbs for 15 reps. I feel so strong when I do these. I think that is part of why I like it.
I've always had trouble with the lunges because of my arthritic ankle so I pulled out my suspension trainer and did suspended lunges. I can actually do them again! I'll admit that part of why I was intrigued with the suspension aspect is because my balance is horrible. The 15 lunges (2 sets) took me crazy long because I had to catch my balance in between in each. These are the lunges for those that have no idea what I'm talking about.
Then I had swiss ball crunches on my list but my ball was upstairs since I sit on it for work so I decided to use the trainer for these too but did suspended crunches. Oh, my, god, I was crazy shaking by the time I was done with my 15. I literally fell to get out of the straps when I was done because I was completely drained.
I think this is going to be my new friend!
