Get Pumped UP! Cause it's Friday!

Yay It's Friday!!! It's been a very up and down week for me, mostly down, BUT I feel like things are on the upswing now. I was feeling very down and struck with anxiety this week- I cried a lot, talked a lot, fretted a lot and basically drove myself and my bf insane. Bu talking my feelings, fears, struggles, likes and dislikes out seriously helped. I feel like I unloaded some of the heavy baggage I've been shoving in my head and keeping there. It's what I do best... I wish i expressed those things best when they happen, but I just don't.

So with all that happening this week I am still feeling pretty good. I got a good nights sleep last night because I wasn't up crying, talking or worrying. I don't feel the weight of anxiety pulling me down right now. I feel lighter, happier and really excited to have a much deserved low key weekend with NO plans to go out and party or any other kind of self- sabotaging fun!

Tonight i'm taking Josh to a Dime bag Daryl tribute concert at a bar here in town. It's a huge venue that gets some mid-level bands. Daryl was a guitarist for Pantera (I think, sorry if i'm butchering!) But it's rock/metal and he loves that stuff. I was trying to surprise him, but since he listens to the station that's promoting it, he figured it out. I'll probably have 1 or 2 drinks and just have a good time- I got earplugs lol.

Yesterday I made the decision to not run the scheduled 3 miles. After Tuesday's kettle bell leg/arm workout, and Wednesday's 3 mile run- my legs were killing. I don't want to push anything to the point of injuring myself. Do the deal for that skip is that this weekend I'll need to run Saturday AND Sunday- 3 miles each day. Then 3 on Monday before I get a rest day- yikes! :) And then next week we run 4 miles on Saturday and the training schedule only gets more grueling from there! GAHH!

This weekend I need to stay diligent with my eating and watch my points every day. I want to step on the scale come Wednesday and see a great number! I am hoping for at least 2lbs lost to be down to 212.7, and anything lower will be great. I'm excited to get below 210 again. Even since I started 2 weeks ago my clothes fit much better and I don't feel so big. 7lbs can do that!

Anywho!! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Also i didn't get a lot of response on my Kettlebell question so if anyone has some great moves that aren't too well known let me know!!

Oh- and Wish me luck on running, ill need it for sure!! Even if I can't RUN the whole 3 miles, just finish it and I will be happy!

Good to know you are still kicking butt and taking names!

Your weekend sounds AWESOME, smart move on the earplugs lol.

And pfffft I know you have hustle, you'll knock those 3 miles out no problem!

    shrinkinglulu gave me some of the best advice I've ever gotten with running:

Am I going to pass out? NO
Am I going to die? NO
Am I going to hurt myself? NO

I've actually used that as a montra when running on the treadmill before-- and it's allowed me to push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of.

Have a great weekend, push yourself hard enough to acheive, not so hard that you keep yourself from achieving the day after.
