When I have watching everyone reboot for the new year, or the new you, or just even the reboot after the holidays I realize that I started back in August and went into maintenance for December but the one thing that has helped me are a set of apps I use. From Gympact which requires me to check into the gym in accordance with my goals. I set my goal at 5 days a week, $30 per day. So a total of $150 a week if I don't go. You know what will make your ass get up and go to the gym, knowing it will cost you $30 to not go. And then I have met my goal I get to share in the proceeds for the week. So i get paid to be healthy, but I can easily be money motivated. I won't pay to be unhealthy.
Then I have my Mealboard which is easy to add recipes in, it takes the ingredients and easily makes a shopping list. I can plan a head of time. And planning and incentive makes it so much easier to stay on goal.
I love finding ways to help myself rather than encourage myself to take the easy road. I've made the easy road a road to success.
