honey benefits?

Yesterday I read on facebook (I know, don't believe everything you see on fb!) that honey can help with weight loss. Has anyone else heard this or have experience trying it?

I just boiled myself some water with honey and cinnamon. There are no measurements listed; does anyone know how much I should use?

WEIGHT LOSS:Daily in the morning one half hour before breakfast and on an empty stomach, and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. When taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high calorie diet.

    I don't know about weight loss, but there are a lot of health benefits to taking honey. I've also known people to take apple cider vinegar and honey to help lose weight. I don't know if I could handle that. I love the smell of vinegar, I don't know if I could handle the taste. You really can't go wrong by taking honey, however you may lose some of the benefits by boiling it. Here's where you can find the recipe you are looking for.
