Friday, January 18, 2013

The most valuable possession you can own is an open heart. The most powerful weapon you can be is an instrument of peace.
Carlos Santana

Have a great Friday!

Your words to ponder reminded me of a prophetic word I received in church a few years ago. I work in a high school in my city -and being a city school, one encounters some rough, tough gangsta wannabes, and gang members. There can be fights in the hall. Kids from broken, single-parent homes...The man told me that my greatest weapon is the Peace of God - because it's something they just don't understand. And it's not because I'm a white lady who never had any problems - my family has gone through some pretty horrific tribulations. Yet - the peace of God passes understanding!
Thanks for the reminder! Blessings on your healthy lifestyle journey!
