Holy cow! Freedom at last!!!

Friday, January 18, 2013

First off, I thought I was never going to get this thing started! I mean seriously, how dense can I be sometimes? Anyway ... let's get this party started!!

If it is one thing I have learned in the past month, that I should have known since I am the one person to tell you this same thing, is that you should never EVER let yourself become so involved in another person's life (whether it be problems or whatever) that you become their *slave* and unknowingly forget yourself.

I guess what I am trying to say is for the past 3 years the hubby and I managed a property for our land lord who in turn did a complete mind f**k on us to where we believed we owed him our time and help. Guess what? After 3 years of not having any freedom because we were too busy doing his dirty deeds we are finally free of the crap. Free of the stress! Free of believing we owe him all our time and energy and getting no compensation for it. Free of doing his bidding at all hours!

Am I happy? Well, hell yeah! I have the time now to concentrate on myself and my husband. I have the time to put things right that have been so wronged for so long. I have the time to take care of ME!! And dammit, I'm going to do it!!

I am going to be 42 in August and have 45 pounds to lose. I am into day 2 of being a 3peat here with spark and honestly I have never felt better and more focused on my goals than now. So here's to moving forward and letting the good times roll!!

It was a complete time of hell! Between managing the property, taking care of a hubby with 3 back surgeries in a years time, and working full time I was lucky if I managed3 -4 hours of sleep a day. Now, I still have the hubby to deal with, but I get 7 hours of sleep, broken up of course, but I still wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day!
