I still wake up each morning with breakfast on my mind. I've discovered a blend of 1/4 cup lentils, 1/4 cup brown rice, one whole egg and 1/4 tsp flaxseed nuked for 3 minutes in an over-sized (I think) custard looking bowl with 1/2 a whole wheat pita and it fills me up better than anything else tried so far. I'm energized! So far I've made it 3 hours and no banana snack yet! Progress. I love it!!!

    Oh, that sounds yummy!

I was a vegetarian for 28 years and have a lot of great recipes . . . your comment is a great reminder that I need to dig 'em out! I remember one recipe that used lentils or lentil flour (maybe) and a lot of other good stuff..... it was prepared by cooking (steaming) in a can or loaf pan, so it could be sliced. Oh, now I've gotta find that recipe!!!
