Real Happiness
Real happiness is cheap enough, yet how dearly we pay for its counterfeit.

Psa 67:4 Let all far-flung people become happy and shout their happiness because You judge them fair and square, you tend the far-flung peoples. (MSG)

We are back to another instance of the word happiness. Before we came to Christ and converted happy moments int ofar-flung lifetime joy, was there something in your life that was counterfeit and confusing? A cheap high? A cheap fling? The foolishness of youth? A broken promise? Whatever we did or said to achieve a temporary happiness and counterfeit, our sins are forgiven if we confess them to Him, but we still will live with regret. I regret many foolish youthful moments, but God did work it together to make me who I am. What about you?

    Wow I hope someday to have as many people reading your blogs as you do.

I wanted to say this about regretting your past. Don't regret what you did before you found Christ. It is our past that makes the people we are. The devil wants us to look back at those times and let them get us down. But they are washed away by the blood. I have had to learn that I can't hide from the things I did, but I can learn from them.

    regret
that is a useless emotion for me. It was what it was a learning experience,

i was saved very young . when leaders in the church we not what they were suppose to be. I was disillusion . I had a brother in the church . try to get with me .both of us married put ministers on pestle's . I couldnt imagine any sin in them . I seen them
as holy men . I left the church to see what the world had to offer. that didnt last
very long . I was into all kinds of sins . I felt remorse.
the great shepard took the HOok of the staff& put me back on the right path.

the world has nothing for me . I learned a great lesson people are just people
we all are sinners saved by grace . sin is sin . to be confessed . & go on with life emoticon

    My past was rather abusive. I spent my time trying to avoid pain from without and from within instead of chasing happiness. Today I have true happiness from god and Christ and a lot of the pain is gone.

    There is nothing better than being a child of the KING, we may still remember our foolishness and have regrets of our past but when we come to Christ and want to be made clean , He removes our transgressions as far as the east is from the west. They are buried in the deepest sea. And we can have our past present and future sins under the blood. One day we will remember our sins no more when we see Him

  I did what ever I could to achieve so called happiness which was all sensual and carnal and very degrading and sinful and addicting and could never have gotten out from under all of them without Jesus.

I listened to and followed what the world said would give me instant happiness and fullfillment of living life. Let me tell you the world is all about selfishness, debaucery, darkness, evilness, vileness and ugliness.

There is no way one can be happy the world's way to happiness.

Jesus is my life, my joy and my peace and my grace, love and truth and forgivenss and righteousness and mercy and wisdim which all lead to my "happiness" now in the name of Jesus.

    I often gave up my own feelings and desires to please others. I have since learned that God values me as a person and those who value me and choose to be my friends are those with whom He sends into my life. Not all acquaintances are to become "good friends" that will stick by you through thick and thin and appreciate who you are and value your feelings. But God knows the ones that will bring His love into your life; He sends those into your life to be reflections of Who He is to you. Now I am free to be myself, not worrying about whether or not I will have friends. I have given control of that over to Him.

    I gave in to peer pressure as a youth, and soon discovered how cheap and short lived that rush was. Only living for Christ will bring complete happiness and I'm so thankful he forgives the mistakes of our past.

    True happiness are not whot I want The peace of God the people around me The beauty he shows me being with me no matter whot is going on Giving me all I need The love he shows me and everything new he teaches me for he gave me a learning heart A meed for justice and look at things trow his eyes for he hates injustice to.He hates anyone being mistreated to He hates anyone to hurt and look down on his people who are all colors and stations in life rich and poor He cares and loves us all who follow him.No matter were we are He put us there for a purpose His will not ours will be done.

    I believe everything mentioned here and so much more we thought brought us happiness but when it goes array we find they didn't really bring us the happiness we thought. Same goes with anytime of addiction we have. Cigarettes, food, alcohol. They are short lived happiness and until we bring Christ into our lives and serve him as we should they will continue to be short lived.
