I am back at it again. I ate good while I was pregnant, but once the meals came when I had a baby, it was nice to eat whatever especially when you don't have much time to cook. Now I am finding time again. IT is a little easier with him being older now. So I am reading Tosca Reno's eat clean book again to brush up on the specifics, but I realize I can not shop at Winco anymore! I spent two hours there the other day, the only bargain was the bulk buckets! I think I found an alternate.... but I was so proud of my family. I am slowly getting them to be aware of what is in the food they eat and that I should be able to pronounce everything in the ingredient list. Yesterday I made clean macaroni and cheese. I was so surprised all but one ate it! IT took work, and I warned them it is not like what they are used to, but they were hungry, so that helped! I am getting them to eat fruit instead of crackers for snack and trying to slowly eliminate the sugar in the house. I am on a sugar fast, no sugar for me. and it is going well, but how do you tell kids, no sugar for you. It is a process. my 11 yr old gets it when I tell him how addicting it is for him and to notice his behavior because of the sugar he ate. So all around, diet is going well. I just have to kick it up a notch on my workouts. I think it will work out best if I remember my window of time to workout, and do something, even if it is only 10 min of a workout! I know I feel so much better. Time to shrink that belly!!
