last two weeks of January

I printed out a monthly calendar and have written in my work schedule and babysitting schedule. And then set "dates" with my self to exercise. This will be an experiment to see how my work schedule and health are going to get along!!! emoticon

If the weatherman has not lied it will be warm enough (in the 40's) for me to get out and get moving. I know if I have to do this at home it will not happen as I have never been able to exercise in doors with an audience (my first husband always made fun of me when I did-so it is a mind thing).

Things at work are settling in so it is time to add another aspect to life!!! emoticon

    Hey!!!

    I have always hung a calendar on my fridge and everytime I walked or went to the Gym, I would come home and mark it with a BIG RED 'W' or 'G' !!!

    In no time your calendar is a huge inspiration! Seriously, try it, because the more RED letters you see on the calendar, the prouder you feel. It almost becomes motivation! And you can also see if there have been any 'gaps' since you've been!

    The calendar is a great idea and will help you to focus on what you would like to achieve each day. Glad to hear that work is settling down too.

    I have my treadmill set up in one of the bedrooms - this allows me to disappear for half an hour or so and just plod away on it without "disturbance".

    I was hung up on people seeing me work out or even if they saw me walking in the neighborhood. It's a miracle that I am able now to do my wii fit stuff with family at home. We can't let other people inhibit us from doing what we need to do. We must not give them the power to keep us from accomplishing our goals. And once you get started, it gets easier to do.
