...it's the day to day upkeep that will get ya.
Like many people, I have a grand plan of losing nearly 30 pounds. Like many of you, two days into the diet, I realize that the hardest part is planning and having the willpower to make it happen. If I stick to the recommendations from SparkPeople, I should be almost 30 pounds lighter by the end of April. 30 pounds! Before late spring!! Before my friend's wedding that I'm a bridesmaid in!!!
Remembering these points, I try to consciously make the right choice at meals. I passed up a delicious homemade brownie from a coworker today. It was CHOCOLATE. I wanted to cry. But I asked myself if I wanted the treat to satisfy me for a few minutes, or to continue to work for the body that I've wanted for years?
Trying to continue day by day. Luckily I've been enjoying reading all the success stories from the SP pages, and nearly all of them say the same thing--it's a daily choice.
