Quilt Blocks

Today was just a normal day. I started working on my 2012 daycare paperwork for taxes today. What fun?! It is always a chore that I really don't look forward to do. I hope to finish it here in the next couple of weeks.

I also finished appliqueing the center medallion for the wedding quilt.

My Quilt and Lose Team is having a challenge this year to make a quilt block for every pound you lose. I have lost one pound. I have been trying to decide what to do and what blocks to make. After looking through my books I have decided. I am going to use 400 Quilt Blocks to Sew in 20 Minutes of Less. I am going to use the numbered blocks that correspond to birthdays and anniversary's in my family or just do them in numerical order. I hope to be able to make 50 blocks this year.

Daily Goals:
1) Blog -- emoticon
2) Exercise at least 10 minutes. emoticon 47 min (treadmill, 2 SP videos)
3) Eat at least 3 freggies a day.. emoticon 4 servings

    You are so ahead of me Carrie with the quilt blocks. I decided I would finally do the block a month from Craftsy that I signed up for last year and didn't do--too much going on last year and then did not do much until October. Have fun and keep on keeping on. ((HUGS))

    I would love to learn how to quilt. I have always wanted to make a quilt. One of the things on my Bucket List, I guess. I like the groups plan of a block for every pound.
