After being sick since Saturday evening, I've finally been able to get back into the game with my fitness routines! It feels so amazing!
I went to fit club and managed to survive the Turbofire HIIT 20 workout and moved my way into the Insanity Cardio Abs workout. If my abs were not feeling it before, they will tomorrow morning! lol!
I've still got to finish my LesMills Combat workout, but I'm resting for a little bit and plan to have some carbs in my system before starting.
It just feels so good to be in my routine again. And I'm so grateful that I managed my calorie intake to a higher level without going overboard. I'll probably give myself one more day of 1700 calories and then bring it down to 1300 over the week. Wish me luck, my friends.
To everyone that is sick and fighting against the flu and other nasties floating around as of late, take your rest and don't over do it. It's not worth burning yourself out while ill, you'll just make yourself feel worse. Trust me, I tried and it was awful. Wait it out and you'll get back into the fight soon enough!
