3 day trouble and then blessings.

Thursday, January 17, 2013

My stress test came out fine. The doctor said he didn't see anything wrong with my heart and wrote an ok for my surgery.
Yes my water heater broke and they still have work to do.
The next day my a/c broke and they had to put a new motor in it.
The third day a car broadsided me and my car is in the shop and I have a rental car.

I will wait until they do the repair on the house before going in. A friend said he would pick up the car if it isn't finished yet and I will turn in the rental car as I won't be using it.

Irene, you never mentioned your accident on the team! I'm so happy you weren't hurt, your car will be fixed and all will be well.

I'm thrilled about your heart being good and you getting the okay for the knee surgery. Now we await the date and go from there!

One thing at a time dear, everything is getting done as it should be!

Wow! Bad things come in threes.. So now you are ready for some good things!
So very glad you were not injured in the car accident!!! That is wonderful you are cleared for surgery! I have been awake for all my joint replacements other than the elbows. Its far better that way. You will find the knee replacement a long, difficult recovery, but the ability to walk without pain (and stand on it right away without pain) is golden! The main thing is to hang in and perform your physiotherapy exercises regularly no matter how much they hurt. It will mean a better and fuller recovery of your range of motion. It took me three months of exercising before the intense pain of bending the knee finally eased up, but my knee had been in very bad shape for a long time so the recovery was slower.
Will be thinking of you,

God certainly isn't short on the challenges He sends our way. But, He is also not short on the blessings and He is always with us to see us through. Prayers for your surgery and for continued strength from God to meet these daily challenges. My God continue to richly bless you.

Also the water heater broke before it completely emptied out. I was going to the BR to plug in my cell phone and since I was bare foot I felt the water. I shut the water heater off and when they came the next day they drained the rest out.

Yet, wasn't it good that the water heater and A/C happened before your surgery when you were better able to take care of them. Happy you were not hurt in the car accident.
