Things that make you go Hmmm!

Thursday, January 17, 2013

While on Facebook, a friend of mine shared this link:

The guy, Nick Vujici, is truly inspirational! So, many lessons can be learned from his life! He's a great example of a man who had to learn to accept his circumstances by trusting in the God of his life! We all have how we are made up (chemistry), our relationships (connections), daily situations we face (circumstances) and how we think about certain things (consciousness). However, with all of these things we face on a daily basis, we have choices to make.

Do you continue to feel sorry for yourself or do you choose to change? Do you continue to self-loath yourself because you're not a certain size or do you choose to change? Do you continue to make excuses for yourself or do you choose to change? There is no one like you in all the world. I don't care if you're a twin or part of triples, you are still you! You are fearfully and wonderfully made! You're a Designer's Original! Choose to accept yourself, even when you have a few tweaks you're working on! We all have areas that we wish were better: physically, financially, relationally, emotionally, etc. And if you're able to read this, then you still have breath in your body, which means you still have something to do on this earth! So make the choice to live your best life, no matter how you look or what size you are or aren't. You're much more than your weight or dress size! You're more than 2 or 3 numbers on a scale! Everyday, Just Do It: Love Yourself! Celebrate who you are, because Your Heavenly Father above celebrates you everyday! Join in the celebration!

Self acceptance is difficult - we tend to be much kinder to our friends! Thank you for the beautiful words - here's to loving who we see in the mirror and celebrating ourselves!!!
