I've been juicing for that past few days... and I have to say i like the fat I am able to incorporate alot more vegetables I would normally not eat and ge more serving into my meals... I'm not crazy about the taste since I have been playing around with different mixes.. I like my apple celery mixes best. I also realize i like spicy mixes better rather trying to sweeten veggies with fruits.
I have to say I am still hungry and not really full at all...so I have decided to implament juicing into my diet...cause juice fasting is just not for me.... lol
I have it for my breakfast, since I don't like to eat breakfast and I know how important it is in weight loss....so i'm happy to have found juicing. it is quick and easy and i don't feel like I had a major breakfast. it meets my requirement of having breakfast without really having breakfast.
for lunch I'll have a garden salad with a 4-6 oz of protein (chicken, tuna, or beef)
Dinner I'll have homemade vegetable soup and will add my protein source in it
I stay away from high carbs, anything white, no rice, no potatoes, at least for now...i find that i gain weight with these food group, even in small amout... so I think for now...no starchy food.. still researching the best eating style that is best for me and that I will stick to for the rest of my life...
Right now for me it is focusing eating 3 meals and snacks a day....since I have a tendency of not eating all day or drinking...I basically starve...it isn't even for losing weight...it's just that I'm not interested in food through out the day...I get hungry sometimes around 6 and 8pm...which I know...I know ..is really bad
I'm happy to say, since I've stared this journey a little over week ago.. I've been eating more frequently and starting to exercise.. and feeling alot more enery.... what's funny to me is that I'm actuall starting to feel hungry at breakfast time and lunch time..LOL..
I know I have a long way to to go in reaching my target weight...but taking it one day at a time and one step at a time... :-)
any suggestion is deeply appreciated and anyone who wants to join me on this 100 + pounds weight loss journey are welcome...we can support each other toward success for 2013!!!!!!
