Back is 100% again

Thursday, January 17, 2013

Chilly day for us here in central Mexico. I am wearing long sleeves and vest. I know quite your complaining! I bet many of you are colder than me...I guess it's about 65 here. But you have to remember that we don't have heat or air conditioning in our casa as they normally aren't needed. I do have a fireplace but we don't run it as it gets black marks on the wall so therefore don't want that crap going into my lungs. someday we will look into a ventless one and take out the old log things. But overall all we do is layer clothes.
The scale had a half of the one pound gone today. My DH is anxious to go out and eat again, I can tell. I know he would prefer to have gone out to eat today but I started making my mid day meal and he got the message that we should just stay in. We will be going with friends to one of our favorite places where we get the big grill dish....so I want to be "good" until then. Should be going there tomorrow, Saturday or Sunday.
My back seems to be fine again so I am just so lucky it was nothing that was going to drag out to long. Thank goodness. I know many of you have on going pain and I do too in my hands and feet with the arthritis I have but add the back and it is annoying for sure. One part about getting older that I don't particularly like.
But heck it's a great day and I will cherish the day without back pain!
I do hope all my sparks buddies are having a great day.
Sallie

great job on the weight. Glad your back is better. I add 2 tbps black cherry concentrate to water daily and it has really helped my arthritis

I've been following without comment for a while. I'm glad to hear your back has recovered. A bad back can really lay you low.

Great news on your back! Mine is getting better but not 100% yet.

It went from summer to winter here today also. Stay warm and healthy.

Sallie it is 23 degrees right now, & to be 15 degrees next week as I am watching the forecast right now. The cold bother's my bone's terribly as well as my Mom & brother. As soon as we retire off to the south we go for the winter months. Sallie if you get to chilled & it hurts your body, maybe when you come back to the states for a visit you can get a heating blanket, with the utility adapter. Lots of layers for now. Take care
Judy

Ok, sorry! Had to chuckle! It's a "balmy" 23 degrees today! And a windy day @ that!

Good for you on the weight kicked to the curb! Out the door like so much rubbish! Stay the course.

HUGS

I REALLY get how 65 is cold! We are used to it being around 80 or higher to feel comfortable. It's 59 right now! Went down to 29 last night! Do you need me to send a heating pad? (A new one, not from the 2end hand store, I wouldn't want you to burn up!) Let me know & I'll try to figure it out!

Happy day to you, too!

We have had the same weather and I wouldn't know what to do without central air / heating and our gas stove. Our house loses the sun around 3:30 pm and the big chill sets in. Stay warm!
Well done being down again - eating out can be hazardous but the grill plate sounds really good. Enjoy, there is always the next day to be on plan again.

LMBO Sallie! If it was 65 here I'd be in shorts and a tank top. Have a great day.

So glad the back is better! Seems like you've got DH trained where you can meet your needs, even if you know he's not 100% happy. It does take compromise. Best wishes on getting down another pound or so, so you can really celebrate and enjoy!!
