Obsessing over all the good stuff!

Thursday, January 17, 2013

I am having a really rough time concentrating this week!

I am on a high from vacation, and I feel darn GOOD! Like, bring-it-on-world-I-can-take-i
t-all good. Physically I feel as though my body is wide awake -- I got back into a better workout routine and am a little sore (in the good way!) from jolting those muscles out of hibernation mode. I feel rejuvenated from vacation and coming home to a 3-pound loss (awesome!), and my outlook is revived.

And I seriously need help, because I've got Disney on the brain, and I mean ALL THE TIME. No kidding, I am dreaming about it every night, it's wild! And when I'm awake, I'm thinking about it, or researching it, or writing up tips for my little sister (who is taking her honeymoon there later this year). It's all-consuming! There's just been a lot of good happy stuff!

Only problem with all this is that there's that little thing called work that needs to be done. Work schmerk, I don't wanna! I am getting diddily squat done this week, which is bad, but oh my god, DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY!!!!!!

That's where I am today. Very happy, very unproductive, and very...I dunno...SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEX
PIALIDOCIOUS!

I love this! Sometimes I think the best part of Disney is the anticipation and planning leading up to it! I absolutely love that part! I've found myself awake on the computer till 3am more than once just doing my very important "Disney research". It's so easy to get caught up in it. So many people told me I was crazy trying to plan every last detail. Well I am a planner and with Disney you have to be, unless you can afford to go every year, which I cannot! Let me tell you my husband was one who kept complaining that I was trying to micromanage his vacation. Well guess who sang my praises the whole week and still talks about it. He feels we really got "our money's worth" by seeing and doing everything we could. He was so grateful for my planning!

Usually when you get home from Disney it s kind of depressing but you are carrying the addiction with you. Maybe you should write a blog on a Disney website with advise and info. I don't blame you one bit. Work will just have to wait!

Funny - we all need vacations to remind us of why we work. Disney rocks, for young and old. Hey, SP needs some disney and cartoon emoticons.

Got to love your mood and attitude! Really great to hear that you are feeling rejuvenated and your outlook is revived! That is nice to have those moments when you feel like you can do anything! You can! Well, except maybe to quit your job and move to Disney :) Good luck on dealing with your Disney fever!

Work schmerk indeed... too bad it must be done. Put some happy Disney soundtrack tunes on if you like, but get to work! Gotta pay the bills so you can plan your next trip! emoticon

Haha you are hilarious!! You should just ask Disney if they need any promo material aimed for adults, so you could work for them, write it up, get paid bajillions, and not have to do any other work schmerk!
