Acts 8:15-17
who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they began laying their hands on them, and they were receiving the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Hello guys and gals.
Well I had another long Wednesday, but it was a good day. I got off work and took Nicholas to school, like usual. I will be glad when he gets his license and we get the pick-up fixed for him, but that is only a few months away. After dropping him off a school I went to the YMCA again. I got me a 10 minute run in and started playing some racquetball again. That is a real fun cardio sport. Today my right forearm is a bit stiff but that comes with all the exercise. I am working on an excel sheet with different strength training exercises so I can track my sets.

Yesterday was my third day of my fast. I have not wanted my breakfast during this time and I have been able to focus that hunger energy toward my prayers. With this fast I have really cut my calories down. I was not even at 1800 calories yesterday, but I was close. My low end of calories is around 2300. I hope this doesn't put my body in fat storing mode. Well I know God will bless this time of fasting and bless me after it.

I have had discussions with people a few times about my beliefs. I just wanted to talk about the Holy Spirit today. The Holy Spirit was given to all believers in Jesus Christ. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a big part of our faith. This baptism allows the different gifts to be preformed by those who are baptised in the Spirit. I have heard it said that the gifts of the Spirit died away with the apostles, but I cant accept this. I believe that God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all manifestations of God. Kind of like ice, water, and steam, all are H2O just in different forms. Hebrews 13:8 says "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." and if this is the case then God and the Holy Spirit are the same. How can something change that was never meant too? I believe that people simply quit believing in the movement of the Holy Spirit.

My Heavenly Father thank you for this day and your presence. Lord thank you for the Holy Spirit in which you sent among us. Lord I ask that You be with me this day and open my eyes to Your will for me. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Yes, that starvation mode will make your body start storing the fat. Breaking up the calories is very important, breakfast can be a half apple or a cup of cereal,etc..
A diabetic diet is the best because it breaks down the whole days food calories into small meals so the body is tricked into thinking it is being fed all of the time, therefore, not storing anything,, utilizing the calories.

    Good luck!

Hmmm...could it be the mentality that says, if I don't believe in it, then I don't have to be held accountable for it. I see the same thing with the fruit of the Spirit (no 's'). I know people who think they are really good at one thing in the list, so they don't have to worry about the rest.

Are you making sure to stretch after your exercises? Coach Nicole has a good stretching video. That can help prevent and reduce the muscle soreness.
