S--- Happens: My Game Plan for Week of 1/13/2013 - Revised

I had to make a few quick - and tough - changes. Wednesday marked the beginning of week 3 of the January Jumpstart Challenge for me. For week 3 of the January Jumpstart, I'm supposed to do an extra 10 minutes a day. I meant to do an extra cardio video with this, but I realize I already do quite a bit of cardio - it's strength training I don't seem to get enough of. I also had to switch my in office/out of office work days this week, so this means I can go to the office gym on Thursday, not Friday. Also, Alita is sick so I had to cancel our jog this evening emoticon Also, the new episode of PLL didn't download to my kindle on time to watch it on the stationary bike yesterday so I did BRUTAL circuits. I'm still sore today emoticon I'll do the stationary bike at lunch today, after I do the challenge I can't do tomorrow since I'll be out at the restaurants instead of at the office.

Workout Plan:
Sunday - Day 5 JJ, Just Dance 4 sweat mode -DONE
Monday - 2 work walks, day 6 JJ, lunchtime office challenge (1 mile on elliptical at level 8, 1 minute pushups, 1 minute situps, 1 minute squats, backwards jump rope) -DONE
Tuesday - 2 work walks, day 7 JJ, lunchtime boot camp class -- MODIFIED 1 WORK WALK, NO BOOT CAMP
Wednesday - 2 work walks, day 1 JJ, lunchtime circuits, 10-minute crunchless core video
Thursday - 2 work walks, day 2 JJ, lunchtime office challenge (1 mile on elliptical at level 8, 1 minute pushups, 1 minute situps, 1 minute squats, backwards jump rope) plus stationary bike, leg toning video
Friday - Morning jog, day 3 JJ, arm toning video
Saturday - (rest day) day 4 JJ, fat blaster video

Dinner Plan
Sunday - pesto tilapia, salad, couscous
Monday - turkey chow mein
Tuesday - slow cooker turkey chili
Wednesday - turkey pot sticker stir fry w/edamame
Thursday - turkey burgers, carrots
Friday -pizza, salad
Saturday - TBD, depending on what's on sale at the grocery store

Fruits of the week: bananas, cherries, honeydew, apples, tangerines

-- had to modify Tuesday! Forgot to take into account that I have to leave early on Tuesdays.

    I'm still feeling my Monday workout! I'm well enough to get out and walk or hit the gym today finally, but I can STILL feel the soreness in my quads. Need to do more squats!
